A high proportion of companies have explored the rising impact of social media but failed to maximise their returns, according to a report published by Big Mouth Media and Econsultancy.
Research compiled from around 1,100 companies, focused on analysing how social media and online PR are perceived as effective marketing tools.
Almost Two-thirds (64%) of companies say that they have experimented with social media without pursuing interest with active involvement.

Anyone can produce a blog. Well written or not, it still has added value to the owner and an audience. Blogging has evolved from building individual diaries to a productive news source for web users to gather information on demand.
As I have recently revamped our corporate blog site I am in the process of making sure I obtain ample inbound links in order to attract a larger audience to my site.
Therefore I have decided to include some basic guidelines to help you on the way to promoting your blog.
Without the best insight and approach, this process can be very time consuming and ultimately fail to gain productive results.
The first step would be to ensure you have frequent content flowing through your blog. By attracting visitors to your page there needs to be a fair amount of material available to influence the likelihood of visitors returning.
